We are seeking a dedicated Sedation Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care to patients, demonstrate clinical expertise, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and well-being. We offer a highly competitive pay rate with bonuses.
Responsibilities:
– Administer conscious sedation (moderate sedation) medications under the direct supervision of the Medical Doctor
– Assess patients before, during and after the administration of conscious sedation and provide appropriate care
– Verify the appropriate procedure to be performed with the Provider
– Verify all appropriate paperwork and consents are completed and signed
– Start IV’s and manage IV’s during procedure
– Perform patient labs and report findings to the Provider
– Recognize emergency situations and responds appropriately
– Maintain emergency equipment and monitoring equipment
– Obtain and administer medication as ordered by the Medical Doctor
– Maintain medication inventory and medication logs
– Knowledge of Interventional Radiology is preferred
– BSN is preferred but not required
– Conscious Sedation Certificate is preferred but not required
Requirements:
– Current Virginia State Registered Nurse Licensure
– Surgical setting experience
– ACLS
– BLS

Kadlec has an exciting opportunity for a Procedural RN to join our growing Ambulatory Surgery team located in Richland, Washington!
Shift Details: Full time, 1.0. Day shifts.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program required.
- One year procedural/surgical setting experience required.
- Conscious sedation experience required.
- Current WA State RN licensure required.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
- ACLS requiredwithin 6 monthsfrom date of hire into the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Conscious Sedation Certification preferred.
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
As a Procedural Registered Nurse you will perform a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a surgical setting.
- Administers conscious sedation (moderate sedation) per competency under direction of Provider.
- ccesses patients before, during, and after administration of conscious sedation and provides appropriate care.
- Assures all equipment is functioning before use, and follows manufacture’s guidelines.
- Verifies the operative procedure using the consent form, patient statement, and if needed surgeon verification prior to the procedure.
- Continuously evaluates the patient’s needs, plan of care, and nursing actions, adjusting the plans as required to provide optimum patient outcomes.
- Starts IVs and manage IVs during procedure.
- Triages patients per specialty protocol (phone or face-to-face).
